Lying - What does that truly mean

open to everyone • in the room or online

Everybody has lied. The small ones. "I'm on my way" when you haven't left. "No, it's fine." "I'm good." The ones that keep a room calm. And the bigger ones. The lie that kept a job you couldn't afford to lose. The lie that got someone out of a house safely. The lie told so long ago that correcting it now would cost more than living with it. We tend to sort lies into wrong and not-wrong and stop thinking there. But people lie for reasons, and the reasons are usually the interesting part. Protection. Survival. Keeping the peace. Buying time. Not being able to face the thing yet. So the questions I want to sit with aren't about right and wrong.

What a Circle is

A small guided conversation. There is a topic, someone keeps the conversation from drifting, and you share as much or as little as you want. No performance, no fixing, no advice you did not ask for.

Here Together offers supportive conversation and shared experience. It is not therapy, medical care or legal services.
