How to read this page
RULE means a condition of participation. GUIDANCE means a strong recommendation intended to help you and the group have a better experience; use your own judgment.
Respect & participation
RULE
Respect people and the space. Harassment, threats, intimidation, discriminatory conduct, repeated disruption or intentionally demeaning another participant is not permitted.

No recording or screenshots. Do not record, photograph, livestream, screenshot or publish another participant or their personal story without explicit permission.
RULE
No selling in the Circle. Do not use a Circle to solicit clients, recruit for unrelated businesses, sell products or pressure participants into outside services.
RULE
Follow venue and safety requirements. Participants must follow reasonable instructions from facilitators and venue staff. Here Together may end a participant’s attendance when conduct creates a safety issue or materially disrupts the experience.
GUIDANCE
Speak from your own experience. “This is what helped me” is often more useful than “This is what you should do.”

Share only what you want to share. You never have to tell your whole story. You may pass, pause, step out or simply listen.

Listen without immediately fixing. Sometimes being heard is the support someone needs in that moment.

Take what serves you; use your judgment. Other participants may share opinions or personal experiences. Consider them thoughtfully without treating them as professional advice.
Privacy in a group setting
RULE
Protect other people’s identifying information. Do not intentionally repeat another participant’s private story outside the Circle in a way that identifies them.

Be thoughtful about what you disclose. Here Together asks everyone to respect privacy, but absolute confidentiality cannot be guaranteed in a group setting because other participants are present.
Professional support & personal judgment
RULE
Circles are not professional treatment or legal services. Do not represent Here Together discussions as medical, psychiatric, psychological, therapeutic or legal advice.
GUIDANCE
Seek qualified professional help when appropriate. Use licensed medical, mental-health, legal or other professional services when your situation calls for them. If there is an immediate danger or emergency, contact local emergency services.
Food, beverages & outings
GUIDANCE
Tell us about relevant dietary needs when asked. We will share venue or food information when available, but we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
RULE
Use responsible judgment. Participants are responsible for their own transportation, personal property, alcohol choices where alcohol is legally served, and compliance with venue rules.
